CANONICAL BASES FOR sl(2,C)-MODULES OF SPHERICAL MONOGENICS IN DIMENSION 3

چکیده
Spaces of homogeneous spherical monogenics in dimension 3 can be considered naturally as sl(2,C)-modules. As finite-dimensional irreducible sl(2,C)-modules, they have canonical bases which are, by construction, orthogonal. In this note, we show that these orthogonal bases form the Appell system and coincide with those constructed recently by S. Bock and K. Gürlebeck in [3]. Moreover, we obtain simple expressions of elements of these bases in terms of the Legendre polynomials.

Canonical bases of higher-level q-deformed Fock spaces
We define canonical bases of the higher-level q-deformed Fock space modules of the affine Lie algebra sl n generalizing the result of Leclerc and Thibon for the case of level 1. We express the transition matrices between the canonical bases and the natural bases of the Fock spaces in terms of certain affine Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials. Leclerc and Thibon defined, in [6], a canonical basis of th...
متن کاملOn duality of modular G-Riesz bases and G-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules
In this paper, we investigate duality of modular g-Riesz bases and g-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules. First we give some characterization of g-Riesz bases in Hilbert C*-modules, by using properties of operator theory. Next, we characterize the duals of a given g-Riesz basis in Hilbert C*-module. In addition, we obtain sufficient and necessary condition for a dual of a g-Riesz basis to be agai...

or its invariant space Inv(V1 ⊗ V2 ⊗ . . .⊗ Vn). The quantum group Uq(g) has representations and vector spaces of invariants which generalize these, and one can also study their bases, with or without the intention of specializing to q = 1. (For simplicity, we will usually consider Uq(g) as an algebra over C(q ), and we will only occassionally mention Z[q] as a ground ring.) Lusztig’s remarkabl...
متن کاملA Diagram Calculus for Certain Canonical Bases
We introduce a certain cellular algebra Q(n; r) which is a quotient of the q-Schur algebra S q (n; r). This is naturally equipped with a canonical basis which is compatible with Lusztig's canonical bases for certain modules for the quantized enveloping algebra U (sl n). We describe a diagram calculus for Q(n; r) which makes calculations involving the corresponding canonical bases easy to unders...
متن کاملA New Approximation Theory Which Unifies Spherical and Cohen-macaulay Approximations
In the late 1960s Auslander and Bridger [2] introduced a notion of approximation which they used to prove that every module whose n syzygy is n-torsionfree can be described as the quotient of an n-spherical module by a submodule of projective dimension less than n. About two decades later Auslander and Buchweitz [3] introduced the notion of Cohen-Macaulay approximation which they used to show t...
